On behalf of the Malaysian Paediatric Association (MPA) and Asian Pan-Pacific Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (APPSPGHAN), it’s my pleasure to invite all of you to the 15th Congress of APPSGHAN & 43rd Annual Scientific Meeting of MPA. Indeed, it is an honour for MPA to organise this prestigious international conference.
The theme of the Congress is ‘Beyond Kid’s Gut & Liver – Towards Holistic Care’. The scientific programme is impressive, catering to the needs of both general paediatricians and paediatric gastroenterologists and hepatologists. Prof Lee Wey Seah’s organising and scientific committees have worked hard and gone all out to bring the experts in this field. There will be plenary lectures, pre-congress workshops, symposia, and meet-the-expert sessions. I can assure you that you will enjoy the prepared programme.
The beautiful city of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, will be the city hosting this congress from 12- 15 October 2022. The venue of the Congress, Sabah International Convention Centre, is a new, world-class convention centre. While attending this congress, take time off to enjoy this beautiful city and state. Come early or stay a few more days after the congress. Kota Kinabalu and Sabah has lots to offer.
This congress will be one of the first international paediatric meetings held in Malaysia after the Covid-19 pandemic and transition into endemicity. I would encourage international and local delegates to attend physically as we have missed a lot during the last two years. We would love to see you in person.
